VMI seeks revenge on a Presbyterian

BOTTOM LINE: VMI seeks revenge on Presbyterian after abandoning the first clash at Clinton. The teams last met on November 12, when the Blue Hose shot 42.4 percent from the field en route to the 73-72 victory.
BIG MEN ON CAMPUS: VMI’s Kamdyn Curfman is averaging 18.8 points while Jake Stephens has 13.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.5 blocks. For the Blue Hose, Rayshon Harrison averages 20.3 points and 6.5 rebounds while Winston Hill has 12 points and nine rebounds. ROBUST RAYSHON: Harrison connected on 17.1% of the 35 3 points he has attempted and made 6 of 27 in the last three games. He has also converted 82.6% of his free throws this season.
ASSISTANCE RATIOS: The Keydets have recently used assistants to create buckets more often than the Blue Hose. VMI has assists on 54 of 88 field goals (61.4%) in its previous three games while Presbyterian has assists on 30 of 67 field goals (44.8%) over the course of his last three games.
KEYDETS CAUTION: VMI’s diligent offensive only returned the ball on 14.7% of its possessions, the 30th lowest score in all of Division I. 19.9% ââof all Presbyterian possessions resulted in a figure business.
