Two dead found in a house near the reserve and 7th – Woman in custody

The Missoula County Sheriff’s Office added more information to a Friday morning press release. Public Information Officer Jeannette Smith says the incident occurred in the 1000 block of Patty Ann Drive, near 7th and Reserve.
Two minor children were found unconscious and were later pronounced dead at the scene. The suspect is in custody.
The investigation is underway by the Missoula County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff TJ McDermott made the following statement:
“Our sincere condolences go out to family members, friends and first responders affected by this tragedy. We understand the impact and the questions this tragedy will have on members of our communities. Our Missoula County Sheriff’s assistants and detectives are working diligently to get the facts of this incident. ”

Two people were found dead in a residence near the intersection of Reserve and 7e Rue de Missoula early Friday morning, and a suspect is now in custody.
Missoula County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Jeannette Smith made a brief statement about the incident.
‘At 8:05 a.m. this morning, Missoula County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a residence on the west side of Missoula, near the reservation and 7e Street, for reports of suspicious activity.
Additional information reported prompted emergency medical personnel to be dispatched to the residence as well. Missoula County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a suspect and secured the scene for emergency medical personnel. Two people were found dead at the residence.
This is an active investigation and the Missoula County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to avoid the area. There is no threat to public safety. More details will be provided as they become available.‘
