Thames Water purchases first Orege solution to help reduce carbon emissions and improve its environmental footprint
After successful trials in March 2021 and 4 months rental at the Harpenden wastewater treatment plant, Thames Water purchased a first Orege solution for sludge treatment.
Thames Water is the UK’s largest water distribution company, providing drinking water to nearly ten million consumers and wastewater treatment to fifteen million people in London and the Thames Valley .

The Orege solution, which will be implemented in October, contributes around € 260,000 to 2021 revenue.
In addition to the implementation at Harpenden, Thames Water identified a number of sites where Orege solutions could be implemented, including the use of mobile units at sites where no sludge thickening system is available. exist.
