EVRE partners with MoEVing to set up 1,000 electric vehicle charging stations in India, Auto News, ET Auto
New Delhi:Electric vehicle charging infrastructure company EVRE on Wednesday announced its partnership with MoEVing, an electric fleet startup based on technology for urban mobility.
As part of this partnership, EVRE will install 1,000 electric vehicle charging stations across India over the next six months. They will be used by MoEVing and other owners of electric vehicle fleets. The long-term partnership will also be based on an innovative business model, where charging stations can be used cross-wise, the company said in a press release.
In Bengaluru, MoEVing uses public EVRE charging stations and at the same time, EVRE also uses MoEVing charging stations, he added.
EVRE will conceptualize the design, manufacture, establishment, operation and maintenance of the EV
charging infrastructure. The technology for all chargers, existing and future, will be owned and operated by EVRE. MoEVing will assist EVRE in assessing the demand for sites to set up charging stations for higher usage.

According to the press release, the phased implementation will include the establishment by EVRE of 200 charging stations in
Bangalore, 200 in Hyderabad and the rest in Kolkata, Chennai, Delhi NCR, Chandigarh, Pune and Mumbai.
Over the next six months, EVRE and MoEVing will work together to strengthen the charging infrastructure
across these cities and ensure access to this infrastructure to support MoEVing’s expanding commercial electric vehicle fleet in urban communities, the statement said.
