49ers vs Rams prediction: San Francisco will cover

The Wildcat returns for its 25th season in The Post. Including the 1997-2020 seasons in the Bettor’s Guide, Cat’s record in print stands at 652-562 (53.8%) ATS.
San Francisco 49ers (+3.5) vs. LOS ANGELES RAMS
You quickly get the idea that this clash is unlikely to play out like the previous AFC draw.
The 49ers’ relentless dedication to the defensive equation, anchored by Nick Bosa, has resulted in a half-dozen straight wins in this longstanding NFC West rivalry.
For San Fran, the sustained key has been a dedication to ball control, which has resulted in inflated possession time ratios favoring this visitor. Not all Rams big names automatically translate to a win/cover.
CHIEFS (-7.5) against the Cincinnati Bengals
The greatly improved Bengals came on hand, courtesy of their brilliant draft that landed ace QB Joe Burrow in the commander’s chair in Cincinnati. Extremely precocious, with a strong pair of skilled offensive people to go with him, Burrow has been amazing. But this time around, we think Patrick Mahomes and his chiefs – with their experience advantage – should keep a safety margin in this one.
